Welcome to Bare Nailscessity, founded by Chloe Camoccio. Chloe operates from Hidden Beauty, based in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, providing manicures, pedicures, and other beauty treatments to many residents of the local community and further afield. Chloe began the business on a part-time basis in September 2022 shortly after stepping away from a 13-year career in SEND education. She left full-time employment in June 2023 and became fully self-employed as a nail technician.
Chloe trained with INK London – a professional brand and uses these products in her work. The products are versatile and can be used interchangeably to offer a more ‘prescriptive’ manicure for clients. The services currently offered include manicures, pedicures, gel overlays, hard builder gel and gel extensions. For those seeking help with their nail growth, Chloe uses the IBX Nail repair and strengthening system and has supported many clients on a course of treatment to grow and repair nails to improve nail condition. This has also been used successfully with clients who want to stop their nail biting habit. Further to this, Chloe has also trained in lash and brow treatments.

Chloe has many years’ experience with SEN, disabilities and mental health challenges and can adapt her services to support specific needs and requirements.
Chloe prides herself on providing a high quality, clean and enjoyable service. Chloe has developed rapport with many clients and is dedicated to getting to know her clients, not just for their nail needs but also as a person, so that clients feel valued, important and listened to. Having a background working in education supports Chloe’s commitments to continuing professional development, and she regularly updates her knowledge and practise whilst also keeping abreast of news and advances within the beauty/nail industry.

Prescriptive Manicures
All manicures begin with a thorough consultation, which is combined with the information provided on your consultation form and a discussion at the start of your appointment. All manicures include basic manicure practices: preparation of the nail plate, cuticle work, nail file, shape/buff and finished with a cuticle oil. Manicures differ depending on the preferred product application.
Basic Manicure with Nail Kind Polish
A ‘gel-like’ varnish which provides a pop of colour to your natural nails and lasts up to 10 days*. Nail Kind polish can be easily removed with traditional nail polish remover. *will vary dependent on individual nail care, products used and lifestyle.
IBX Nail Repair & Strengthen Initial Treatment
IBX is a revolutionary two-part system that toughens the natural nail plate from within so that the nail can grow on its own. It acts as a protective shield inside the nail and can be used under varnish and gel polish. IBX works by fusing the nail’s top layers together by creating an inter-penetrating polymer network that becomes a permanent addition to the nail. The result is a tougher, smoother natural nail with improved colour and appearance. For best results, a course of treatment is recommended following a consultation to ascertain the initial nail condition. Subsequent treatments can be weekly, fortnightly or three weekly.
Gel Polish Manicure
Designed to give you a longer-lasting manicure for up to 3 weeks with no chipping or lifting. Gel polish manicures include a base coat, colour and top coat to leave you with a smooth and flawless nail.
Builder Gel Manicure (usually referred to as BIAB)
A stronger ‘built up’ layer of gel is applied over a base coat to provide structure (an apex) and strength. This is typically better for people who have weaker nails, wish to grow their nails or who have lifestyles which may require a stronger gel to avoid chipping and lifting. A gel colour can then be applied over a builder or it can be top-coated to leave a more natural finish.
The nail industry builder gel trend has developed a vast selection of products so that the right builder gel can be applied for your nail type and lifestyle so that retention is optimised. I use soft, hard and a combination builder gel. To make it easier when booking, if you know you would prefer a builder gel overlay, this falls into one booking category. What type of builder gel can then be discussed at your appointment. If it is your first appointment with me, I am more inclined to try a soft base builder gel first as this can be soaked off at home, whereas hard gels are file off only and therefore not appropriate for use unless you are returning to me for either regular maintenance or removal.
Gel Nail Extensions (FIT Tips)
Fit tips are full-cover extensions applied with gel rather than nail glue. They can be removed by soaking in a gel remover using foil wraps. They are great for occasions, short term/long term use and suitable as a temporary extension whilst waiting for the natural nail to grow out. They can be filed to desired length and shape. Once applied and blended, they give a more natural appearance. A gel colour can then be applied over the top along with nail glitter, and painted art or other additions.
Gel Nail Removal
Depending on individual nail types and products, gel is removed using either an e-file or a file and soak-off method. Once the product is safely removed, the treatment is finished with a basic manicure to leave the nails tidy.
Pedicures
All pedicures begin with a thorough consultation, which is combined with the information provided on your consultation form and a discussion at the start of your appointment. All pedicures include basic pedicure practices; preparation of the nail plate, cuticle work, toenails cut/filed, shaped, foot file and finished with a cuticle oil or foot cream.
Express Gel Pedicure
Short on time? You can still have a pedicure. Designed to take no longer than 45 minutes, the express pedicure will include a basic pedicure followed by application of INK London’s X-Lac all-in-one base, colour and top coat. It takes less time to apply just two coats of gel and provides a chip-free finish. It can be soaked off in the traditional way in just 3 minutes.
Gel Polish Pedicure
Gel polish base, colour and top coat to give you a long-lasting smooth, shiny finish. To keep toenails healthy, gel should be removed after 4-6 weeks.
Luxury Pedicure with Releaf
A Releaf pedicure is a cosmetic pedicure that uses a range of products to remove dry skin and calluses, and to nourish feet. The products are vegan, paraben-free and sulphate-free, and are made with natural ingredients from sustainable sources.
Relax in a warm eucalyptus foot soak, enjoy an exfoliation scrub and the use of a cuticle and callus softener. Followed by a cuticle tidy, nail shape and gel polish application. The treatment is finished with a lower leg and foot massage, application of CBD Elixir Oil, Dadi cuticle oil and finishing spray. Upgrade to a Platinum pedicure to include the use of the CBD Elixir Oil and AU Drench to your pedicure for a more luxurious feel, perfect for those with extra dry skin, circulatory problems or skin conditions such as Psoriasis.

Luxury Hand Treatment with Releaf
An application of an exfoliating hand scrub, removed with hot mitts finished with a hand and arm massage using a nourishing lotion.
Sculpted Nail Repair
Builder gel is applied to the natural nail and the extension created using a nail form. The gel nail is then buffed, filed and shaped to match the existing nail length.
FIT Tip Nail Repair
Gel tip re-applied, filed, shaped and blended. Gel colour application re-applied to match existing nails.
French Manicure
It is advised that you add this when booking your appointment so that the required time is booked out for this. Your preferred manicure and gel application with white or colour applied to the tip of the nail over a natural pink builder gel.
Hand Painted Nail Art
It is advised that you discuss your ideas prior to your appointment so that additional time can be booked out for this. Designs created or hand-painted with gel colours, gel paint, or stamped onto the nail. Nail art is categorised into four pricing tiers.
Nail Art Effects
Include the use of but not limited to; Flexi tape, Foils, Foil, Leaf, Gems, Loose Glitter, Bloom gel etc.
Gel Product/Nail Removal (not applied by me)
Removal of third-party gel, acrylic or nail extensions is mandatory prior to a manicure by Bare Nailscessity. Nails are buffed, e-filed and soaked off if necessary with gel removal wraps.
Lash & Brow Treatments
All lash and brow services require a full consultation prior to treatment. Any treatments involving lifting products or tint require a patch test at least 48 hours prior to the appointment.
Lash Tint
Lashes are cleansed, a desired tint is applied and removed. Lasts up to 4 weeks.
Lash Lift & Tint
Lashes are cleansed, silicone shields are placed onto eyelids and lashes are set into place whilst a perming solution is applied, removed and followed with a neutralising lotion. Lashes are then tinted, and following the removal of the shields, a conditioning serum is combed through the lashes. The finished result provides volume and curl to the natural lash, which can give the appearance of a wider, more open eye. Lash lifts typically last 6-8 weeks, but with good aftercare, some clients experience up to 10 weeks. If your lash lift lasts longer than 8 weeks, the lashes can be re-tinted between lash lifts to avoid re-lifting too soon, which will over-process the lashes. Please note that to have this treatment you must be able to lie down with your eyes firmly closed for up to an hour.
Brow Tint
Brows are cleansed, a desired tint colour applied and removed. Lasts 4–6 weeks, depending on aftercare and product use.
Brow Shape
Brows are cleansed, warm wax is applied to remove unwanted hair. Application of wax remover and aftercare lotion. Hairs that are unable to be removed with wax can be plucked using tweezers.
Brow Tint & Wax
A combination of a brow shape and tint.
Lash Lift & Brow Package
A combination of a brow shape and tint and lash lift and tint. Booking the package together provides a discount to the individual set price of the two treatments.
Brow Lamination
Brow Lamination is a process of straightening and setting brow hairs into a desired position using the same products as a lash lift. Brow Lamination will help give you a uniform and fuller eyebrow shape. This is suitable for brows that do not have symmetry and hairs follow a different pattern. With lamination the brows can be re-aligned. Lamination can last 6-8 weeks, dependent on aftercare and product use. Brow shaping and tinting is included as part of the service.

Policies and Information
Booking Policy
Appointments can be booked via the ‘Book Appointment’ button on the page or directly with Chloe. When booking an appointment, please specify which treatment you require so sufficient time can be dedicated to you. This includes nail art, extras or removal of product. If you book an appointment with Chloe directly, you must provide a name, telephone number and email address to be added to the booking system, which will generate appointment reminders. A £15 deposit is required at the time of booking via bank transfer. The deposit is non-refundable, but can be deducted from the cost of your appointment. The remainder of the balance for the service can be paid in cash or by bank transfer on the day of your appointment.
Consultation Forms
Consultation forms will be sent to you via email by the booking platform Fresha and must be completed at the time of booking. For subsequent appointments after your initial consultation, a consultation update form will be sent to provide an area where you can note any health changes, problems, concerns or possible contraindications. Failure to disclose any possible contraindications, including any sickness or respiratory illness, may result in treatment being suspended and full payment for the cost of the service booked will be required.
Payment Policy
Payment for appointments must be made either by cash or bank transfer via BACS or PayPal. Bank transfers must be made within 12 hours of the appointment. Failure to pay within this time will incur a late payment fee of £5.00, which will be added to the cost of the service.
Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to cancel or amend your appointment, at least 48 hours’ notice must be given. At the discretion of Bare Nailscessity, the deposit can be transferred to a new appointment. Cancellations and amendments within 48 hours will result in the loss of the deposit. A new deposit will be required for a new appointment. No shows and cancellations on the day will be required to pay for the value of their appointment in full. Cases of illness within 48 hours of your appointment will be managed at the discretion of Bare Nailscessity. For any cancellations made by Bare Nailscessity, deposits will be transferred to the new appointment.
Data Collection & GDPR Policy
Personal information will be gathered for communication purposes and to ensure that there are no contraindications or risks associated with treatments. This information will be stored securely and used for the purpose intended. Information will not be shared with any third party. Clients are responsible for keeping their contact information up to date on Fresha. Records of treatments and products used will be kept separately by Bare Nailscessity. By completing a consultation, consent must be provided for collection and storage of personal information.
